Shipping policy
(UK ONLY)
At SPV Lights, we want your order to reach you as quickly and safely as
possible. This Shipping Policy explains how and when we deliver, the couriers
we use, how to track your order, and what to do in the unlikely event that
something goes wrong. This policy applies to deliveries within the United
Kingdom only.
DELIVERY COST
We offer free delivery on all UK orders. There is no minimum spend, and the
delivery cost shown at checkout will always be zero for standard UK addresses.
DELIVERY TIMES
Once your order has been dispatched, the estimated delivery time is 3 to 5
working days.
We aim to process and dispatch orders promptly after they are placed. Working
days are Monday to Friday and do not include weekends or UK public and bank
holidays. Orders placed at the weekend or on a bank holiday will be processed
on the next working day.
Please note that estimated delivery times are a guide rather than a guarantee.
During busier periods, such as seasonal sales and the run up to public
holidays, deliveries may occasionally take a little longer.
DELIVERY AREAS
We currently deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
Deliveries to some remote or offshore locations, including the Scottish
Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands
and other outlying areas, may occasionally take longer than the standard
estimate. If this affects your order, we will do our best to keep you informed.
HOW WE SHIP YOUR ORDER
All orders are shipped within the UK using fully tracked services from trusted
couriers, including UPS, Evri, DPD and Royal Mail.
The courier used for your order will depend on the size, weight and delivery
location of the items you have purchased. We select the most suitable service
for each order to help ensure it arrives safely and on time.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation
email containing your tracking details. You can use the tracking link in this
email to monitor the progress of your delivery in real time, right up to the
moment it arrives.
If you have created an account with us, you may also be able to view your
order status by logging in to your account.
If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam or junk
folder before contacting us, as automated emails are sometimes filtered there.
DELIVERY ADDRESS
Please make sure the delivery address you provide at checkout is complete and
correct. We are unable to redirect parcels once an order has been dispatched,
and we cannot accept responsibility for delays or non-delivery caused by an
incorrect or incomplete address.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address or because it was
not collected from the courier, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. A
further delivery charge may apply in these circumstances.
MISSED OR FAILED DELIVERIES
If you are not in when the courier attempts delivery, they will usually leave a
calling card with instructions, attempt redelivery, or leave the parcel with a
neighbour or in a safe place where appropriate. Please follow the instructions
provided by the courier to rearrange delivery or collection.
IF YOUR ORDER HAS NOT ARRIVED
If your order has not arrived within 10 working days, please take the following
steps before contacting us:
- Check the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email for the latest
delivery status.
- Check whether a calling card has been left, in case a delivery was attempted.
- Check your spam or junk folder, in case the confirmation email was filtered
there.
If you have completed these checks and still need assistance, please contact
our customer support team and we will resolve the matter for you as quickly as
possible.
DAMAGED OR MISSING ITEMS
We take great care to package every order securely. In the rare event that your
order arrives damaged, please contact us within 10 days of delivery so that we
can put things right.
Some orders may be sent in more than one parcel, and items can occasionally
arrive separately. If you believe an item is missing from your order, please
contact us and we will look into it straight away.
DELAYS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Occasionally, deliveries may be affected by circumstances beyond our control,
such as severe weather, courier disruption or other unforeseen events. While we
cannot be held liable for delays of this kind, we will always do everything we
reasonably can to help your order reach you.
