The role
You'll be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties throughout the M25 region. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll help deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
This role offers ongoing training, career development opportunities and the chance to play a direct role in supporting the UK's transition towards cleaner energy.
Key responsibilities
- Install solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties
- Carry out inspections, maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoot electrical and system performance issues
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
- Work closely with colleagues to complete installations efficiently
- Maintain accurate job records and installation documentation
- Provide excellent customer service throughout each project
Skills and experience
- Solar installation experience is beneficial but not essential
- Electrical, wiring, roofing or construction experience is advantageous
- Understanding of electrical systems and safe working practices
- Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid UK driving licence
- Commitment to health and safety procedures
No solar experience? Applicants with transferable skills from electrical, roofing, construction or related trades are encouraged to apply.
